February Spirals
More Spiral Patterns.
Continuing to look for Fibonacci spiral patterns is fascinating and as the first spring flowers emerged I had my camera ready. After the seeds had blown away, the common dandelion flower revealed where the seeds had been organised in spirals - 13 going anticlockwise and 21 clockwise. I also had a close look at the numerous daisies growing in the lawn. When the image is enlarged the central part of the flower where the seeds grow, also shows spiral formation linked to the Fibonacci number series. As do the spirals forming the large cone I found.
