A Walk in the Forest. |

With trees in mind it was good to walk through this ancient but managed forest on a mild and
sunny December day.There are quite a few ancient coppiced hornbeam trees here, just waiting
to be climbed and sat in.

Lichen, mosses and fungi have a magical a quality, they have held a fascination for me
for as long as I can remember.

The forest offers different activities and has a useful information
centre relating to it's history.
