A Macabre Dawn !
|
|
I happened to be listening to the radio on the 19th of March at 3.00 am in the morning,
and heard the news that the war had started in Iraq. I was filled with an overwhelming sadness
for all those mothers and children whose lives would be thrown into turmoil. |
| Dawn breaking over Bagdad. |
| This picture I took from the internet and rightfully belongs to Reuter
news. This is no dawn breaking on another ordinary day, but a fireball lighting up the sky as
the first guided missile hits Bagdad in the early hours of Thursday morning. A macabre dawn indeed.
